General Know It All

Proverbs Reflection

When I was a kid, my mom was having one of those parties in our home where people see samples or catalogues of items and then place their orders. In one of the catalogues, I saw a t-shirt that reflected exactly what I believed about myself. On this t-shirt were the words “General Know It All.”

Old Testament Reflection

There is so much in this text that can teach us but the one thing that is shouting out at me is Nathan’s 180 degree turn of advice. Why?

Read Reflect Joseph must have felt like such a failure. Mary must have been so mad at him, or trying hard not be. But she couldn’t have been as mad at him as he was at himself. He didn’t really know how it had happened. A lot of it was out of his control. There […]

Man proposes, God disposes

Paul completed his mission of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the territories where he had ministered up to the present time. He now shares with the believers in Rome a project that he has on his heart, namely, that of preaching the Gospel in Spain – to the extreme western reaches of the Roman empire.
