Idol, What Can You Do?

In the book of Acts, Luke often calls Christianity, “The Way” of the Lord (9:2; 19:9; 22:4; 24:14, 22). This was an appropriate term because it accurately described the Christians beliefs, practices and preaching of Jesus Christ as “The Way”!

Good News for Sinners of All Kinds

Read Reflect The city of Corinth is situated on the isthmus that joins the Peloponnese – the large peninsula in the south east of mainland Greece – to the rest of the mainland. […]

God’s Secret Revealed

Read Reflect This is one of those passages that takes your breath away. When we become Christians we learn to think in a completely new way. Ordinary human wisdom is warped, because it comes from fallible and sinful human beings, who position themselves at the centre of the universe. To them, Jesus Christ was nothing […]

A Template for Prayer

Read Reflect What a splendid psalm for us to take and flesh out with our own particular circumstances  – or those of someone else whom we’re praying for. The psalm is vague in all its details, so that we can easily fill in our own. The first verse in the CEV sounds a bit flat […]

Who Are You to Judge?

Read Reflect Have you ever heard someone tattle about one of the employees to a person in authority? The comment could have been made to you or even made about you to the boss. I have personally experienced this type of situation in my professional career when I was a director at a company that […]
