Monday

Christ Preeminent (Part 2)

Since Darwin and his theory of evolution in the mid 1800’s people have increasingly rejected the creation Story (Genesis 1-3). This rejection is the basis for secular humanism and why so many Westerners have a problem with Christ (1 Corinthians 1:23).

The theory of evolution is simply not true.

Tuesday

Christ Preeminent (Part 3)

The Apostle Paul had an amazing ministry. He opened up the Gentile world to the Gospel, planted churches throughout Asia Minor, defended the faith before all and sundry, persevered through persecution, dealt with conflict, warned God’s people about the lies of the devil, taught the truth, and laboured to the point of exhaustion.

Teach Me Your Way, O Lord

David knew God in an intimate way. He had learned to trust him in every area of his life (v 1). Our God is an active Father who is fully in touch with each one of his children. He is totally trustworthy. He will never let us down (v 3). His involvement with us is deeply personal.

Sunday

Course Correction

If we look at life as being a journey that happens under the grace and provision of a loving God who provided a personal Saviour and a sustaining Holy Spirit, we can view pain and difficulty as a learning experience or as course correction.

Having anything negative or bad happen to us is always tough.
